zero day in Pie Town, NM
Today we have decided to take a zero day in the quaint Pie Town. We haven't had a day off for the trip yet, and it was feeling like it was about time to rest the body. The miles are not flowing like butter, but we have also been e
ncountering a few challenges along the way- ie. snow, rain, mud... Regardless, the bodies felt like they were in need of a little rest and relaxation. My achilles tendon and Mark's knee need the most attention. Also the Toaster House is a perfect place to hang out. I'm hoping that I'll be able to help out Kathy at the Pie-O-Neer to make pies and get things together.
It should prove to be very nice day- full pie baking and consumption- just perfect. So that's the word. More to come.
